Health Guarantee Obligations
This contract is written for the protection of the breeder, the buyer and the puppy. To the best of the breeders knowledge the puppy is in good health at the time of sale.
Your puppy is guaranteed for one (1) year from date of purchase by Seller against any non treatable congenital defect. The exceptions are cherry eye, which is considered to be a breed defect, submissive wetting, slow to close hernia and/or behavioral problems. It is the responsibility of the buyer to train and socialize the puppy. Training starts the moment the puppy enters your house. Males must be neutered by 5 months.
If the puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to have a non treatable congenital defect condition, the seller shall replace the dog with the next available puppy of the same sex, color and like pedigree. In some cases a refund may be provided.
A copy of the vet report must be given to the seller at the time of notification. In the event of death, an autopsy report shall be performed at buyer's expense to determine the congenital defect and cause of death. The report must be provided before a replacement pup is given. The breeder is not responsible for any vet charges or fees in diagnosing or treating any illness or genetic defect. There will be no replacement pup given if the death was the result of abuse, neglect or accident. Lawn chemicals can cause seizures in puppies. Seller is not responsible for shipping.
This dog is warranted only for the purpose of companion animal only. There is no warranty given as to its fitness for any special purpose.
Buyer's Obligation
1. The dog shall be maintained in good health and be examined by a licensed veterinarian at the buyer's expense within 72 hours of receiving the puppy from the Seller. This requirement will be extended if the 72 hours should fall on a holiday or Sunday.
2. The dog should be supplemented with Super Blue Green Animal Algae as suggested by Seller.
3. The buyer agrees to provide the dog with proper exercise, diet, shelter, and general care, and provide veterinary care including checkups, heart worm preventative, vaccinations, wormings.
4. The buyer agrees that Johnson Country Cockers owners are not liable for any vet bill, loss, death, or injury at any given time.
A down payment of $100 to hold a puppy is non refundable if puppy is not purchased.
A fee of $30.00 will be charged for a NSF/account closed check. Out of state must be Cashiers Check or Money order.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I am not a vet, so my answers are not to replace the advise of a vet.
Enjoy your new puppy and remember...puppies are babies too and will need plenty of rest, love and kindness.
Please DO NOT feed Science Diet. I have had MANY reports of dogs getting cancer while on this food. When people come to me
for a new puppy, I ask what food they used and this has been the case. I recommend Nutri Source or Kirkland. Read your labels...
