Here at JCC you will find a lot of pictures of my pride
and joy. Nothing fancy. Just what works for me to do my
job and do it well. I feel if everyone would post where their puppies are raised it would eliminate a lot of guess work
while shopping for your new puppy. Over the years I have
spent countless hours traveling to purchase a dog only to
find out the dog didn't even look like a cocker or the
condition it was being raised in was not what I expected.
When you come to visit I want you to feel like you know me before you enter my kennel. You either like what you see
here, or you don't. Plain and simple. In order to keep my kennel picture perfect it takes a lot of time, energy and commitment.
Raising dogs is a 24/7 commitment that I take very seriously. I'm not perfect in any way, but I do my best.
As a child growing up on the farm my Dad would always put me on the fence and tell me to watch the cows. I had no clue
what I was supposed to be watching for but what I learned was by doing this I got to know the animals. To this day
I spend a lot of time standing at the gate of the dogs play yard watching them. Doing this I get to know the heart and soul
of each one. What they do, how they do it and why. I know when one is not feeling normal, having a bad day or not happy.
I know the pack order of the whole crew and what makes each one tick. For me as a dog breeder I feel this is very important
if I want to do my best. Many people have made the comment that I know my dogs...well, I guess you could say that I do.
I hope you can see the hard work it takes to raise a puppy. Anyone can mate 2 dogs and get puppies.
But I want that mating to produce the best possible puppy JCC can produce.
People cannot change truth, but truth can change people.
