Dogs have their own unique, loving ways to let us know that in times of crisis, in times of celebreation, in times of
daily life, we are not alone. A wag of the tail, a lick, and a hug, are some of the not too subtle ways that dogs express
their love. Each day, a dog tells you, "I adore you!" As diverse as each of us are, a love for dogs brings people together.
Dogs offer one of the most stable and enduring friendships on this earth.
They make up for each other's abilites or inabilities to cope with and thrive on the planet. No wonder dogs and humans
had to find each other. Once they did, the two species became inseparable.
Interstingly enough, a relationship with a dog also helps us know ourselves better. A dog is guileless and utterly honest.
It becomes a unique mirror reflecting us back to ourselves, if we pay attention. They can give the purest, most
unconditional love. Dogs deliver messages such as... when you are lonely, weary, overwhelmed by life's burdens, I am here.
People who are in pain often can't hear the voice of God whispering comfort and hope. So God sends them a messenger
with a furry face, wagging tail, licking tongue, and generous heart. Those who can accept the gift are taught that love is all
around by one of life's wisest teachers.
Open your heart so you can recognize and receive blessings from Spirit, even if they arrive accompanied by a bark.
The love between dogs, pets and their people is a love that leaps across all barriers, real or imagined, and awakens our sense of connection with the whole circle of life.
